Founders Greg and Jimmy, colleagues at innocent drinks, took inspiration from brands like TOMS shoes, and came up with the idea while at the office gym thinking about how we too often find ourselves complaining about menial things when there are real issues faced by many around the world. They then pitched for, and won, the £1000 innocent scholarship, voted by peers, to test the idea and have since launched the business with this funding.

The launch range comprises of four designs in Men’s and Women’s variants, with one example being: ‘Wifi’s down again’, which supports Telecoms Sans Frontieres (Communications without borders) whom help refugees and disaster victims reconnect with their families using satellite phones.

For their AW12 collection, Italian menswear brand Energie has captured the urban feel of the brand with a new campaign titled “Make Noise” fronted by UK band Rubber Kiss Goodbye.

The Energie ”Make Noise” campaign previews in the brands anticipated AW12 collection, presenting
a new means of expression through dress that is fully reflective of Energie’s identity to stand out from the crowd. The “Make Noise” collection presents a mix of black and white urban-style graphic t-shirts that are not for the faint hearted and a denim collection synonymous with the cutting
edge British indie scene.

Rubber Kiss Goodbye are proving to be one of the UK’s hottest new bands around, consisting of Tara Ferry, son of English singer, musician and songwriter Bryan Ferry along with other band members Oliver and Peter. Energie also appointed the Swedish photographer Alex Lindhal to follow the band in their natural environment where they live and work, capturing their every move. Heretics launches with bold provocative collection

Some t-shirts in the collection feature urbane-detailed artwork by “Biro Man”, an artist who spent over a month creating pieces used in the range with, as the nickname suggests, a biro pen. A closer look at the Mexican skull design reveals the meticulous nature of his artwork with all of the artist’s precise detailing in all its glory. Other pieces in the collection are embellished with vividly intense hues. Flashes of colour used in the “Lust” and “Imagine” pieces are particularly striking and is a modern take on artist of the 60s and champion of the famous pop art movement, Andy Warhol.
