The story has been told before, but never like this.

An occupied desert nation. A radical from the wilderness on hunger strike. A girl whose mysterious dance will change the course of the world. This charged retelling turns the infamous biblical tale on its head, placing the girl we call Salomé at the centre of a revolution.

Internationally acclaimed director Yaël Farber (Les Blancs) draws on multiple accounts to create her urgent, hypnotic production on the Olivier stage.

Salomé is designed by Susan Hilferty with lighting design by Tim Lutkin, music and sound by Adam Cork, movement direction by Ami Shulman, fight direction by Kate Waters and dramaturgy by Drew Lichtenberg. Cast includes Philip Arditti, Paul Chahidi, Ramzi Choukair, Uriel Emil, Olwen Fouéré, Roseanna Frascona, Lloyd Hutchinson, Shahar Isaac, Aidan Kelly, Yasmin Levy, Andrew Lewis, Anna Lindup, Theo T J Lowe, Isabella Niloufar, Lubana al Quntar,and Raad Rawi

We are huge fans of Chris Evans, Michelle Monaghan & Aubrey Plaza at Frost, so you can imagine our excitement for new offbeat romantic comedy Playing it Cool.

Playing it Cool is this generation’s ‘Swingers’ meets ‘500 Days of Summer’, a fresh and quirky story of a slight pretentious man, our ‘narrator’ (Evans), who falls for an unlikely girl, ‘her’ (Monaghan), and will stop at nothing to get her even after realizing she is already in a relationship. Like a young ‘Walter Mitty’, it tells the story of a quarter-life crisis amidst figuring out who you are and what your destiny holds.

In Playing it Cool unrequited love motivates a guy to write about his experiences…

Directed by Justin Reardon, Playing it Cool is from a screenplay by Chris Shafer and Paul Vicknair, from Wonderland Sound & Vision and Voltage Films.

Angelina Jolie On Meeting Louis Zamperini & Unbroken Trailer

One of the films we are most excited about is Angelina Jolie’s second directorial film, Unbroken. The film is about the life of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner who was taken prisoner by Japanese forces during World War II. Angelina told Australia’s TV Week Magazine about meeting Zamperini just before he died.

“I brought him the film on my laptop in the hospital and it was amazing seeing someone at the end of their life watching their life unfold again, at the same time their body was shutting down,

He wanted me to make the movie to show something hopeful about the strength of the human spirit that can pull us through. He reminded me to have my surgery in the year that I did and he reminded me to appreciate every day of my life.”

First Hunger Games Mockingjay Teaser Trailer Released

Hunger Games fans get ready, the Mockingjay: Part 1 teaser trailer has arrived.

The trailer shows President Snow addressing the residents of Panem. It is a good preview of the film which is released on 21 November.

The film’s producer, Nina Jacobson, also tweeted a rather touching picture of the cast getting emotional because filming has ended on the Hunger Games as the franchise draws to an end. We’re pretty emotional too, we don’t want it to end.
